INTRODUCTION:
Since 1994 Cordelia Clancy has taught
Americans from all walks of life how to take responsibility for their
personal safety. In the spirit of "You can give a man a fish, or teach
him how to fish for himself," Clancy created Concrete Jungle
Self-Defense® to empower individuals with the skills to be their own
bodyguards.
Clancy’s reputation for excellence in her
field reached the highest echelons of the Pentagon. She was the first
woman Combatives instructor to train the Security Advisors / Protective
Services Agents to top Pentagon generals.
Along with law enforcement, military special
forces (Para--Rescue), government agents, and a world champion “King of
the Cage” fighter, her clientele includes high-profile individuals such
as the Director of Financial Operations for the Bank of Lebanon (an IMF
representative) and a national TV personality with a stalker.
Clancy's security related expertise has made
her a trusted media source for commentary on high-profile incidents
ranging from the Yosemite murders to the events of 9/11. She’s been
featured in numerous TV, radio, magazine and news pieces in the US and
internationally. She was affectionately dubbed a “Real Life Charlie’s
